In Memory of Past VLW Ranch Stallions
IMA DOUBLE TOUGH TOO
1996-2011 Buckskin Stallion
"Deuce" was the type of stallion that any breeder is looking to find. He was the kindest to be around and trustworthy enough for the young girls to ride not only at home, but at Playdays with their friends around. Even more miraculous was the fact that he passed that same disposition on to his babies. Deuce was a once-in-a-lifetime horse that we are blessed to have had.
An own son of Smart Chic Olena, "Johnson" came to us at the perfect time to cross wonderfully on our "Deuce" daughters. A former USET finalist, we loved getting to show him in Reining and have the girls learn how to ride a super broke horse. He was another respectful stud that could be trusted and loved little girls. Johnson was only with us three short years, but we are grateful for them.

BJ was used by Vern in different Ranch Rodeos and around the place. We just now have some of his babies we have kept growing up to be phenomenal horses, making us even more sad that we lost him a few years ago.

Lou came at the perfect time right after we lost his sire. Sadly, we only had him for a few years before he passed away. He had quite a few wonderful colts and fillies all with the cream gene. Lou passed on great genetics that were bred into him and was easy to handle and be around. He was a thick-made stud that added more color and size to our program. His full sister is "Sunshine" in our broodmare band.
